Project Summary
Provide independent checking services on Tung Chung Line Extension comprising a new Tung Chung East Station, a new Tung Chung West Station and the 820m long bored and cut & covered tunnels from the existing Tung Chung Station to the new Tung Chung West Station.
Check architectural, civil and structural, drainage, trackwork and the 6 selected E&M rail system designs in compliance with MTRCL's New Works Design Standards Manual, Service Requirements Document, Functional Requirements Manual and relevant Standards.
Ensure the designs meeting the functional and operational requirements of the TUE project, and have been accurately translated into the drawings and specifications.
On a risk-based approach, check the cost-effectiveness and buildability of the design of critical elements.
